The long awaited activation of Desecheo Island is scheduled February 12 – 26,2009. Desecheo Island is currently ranked # 6 overall, #3 in Europe and #2 in Asia among the most wanted DXCC entities! This 2009 Dxpedition will be led by veteran DXers Dr. Glenn Johnson, W0GK and Bob Allphin, K4UEE. Collectively, both have unmatched experience in DXpeditions to environmentally sensitive areas of the world. The DXpedition team includes members from the US, Puerto Rico and Canada; many are experienced DXpeditioners and some newcomers. SEE: www.kp5.us
