This exercise is complete and was a success!
Thank you to all the hams that worked so hard to make this a success. And a big thank you to the City of Nanaimo for providing access to the ECC and reception center.
The emergency communications group will be holding a simulated emergency test on Saturday May 9th 2009.
A briefing at 1030am will be followed by on air activity commencing at 1100am. In addition to local stations there will be stations in Vancouver and Victoria participating in the event. If you are interested in learning emergency communications feel free to attend this exercise. Group members attending please remember your binders and identification cards.
