Huge call out to Chris Anton VE7TOP on behalf of the entire volunteer crew of Royal Canadian Marine Search and Rescue Station 27 (RCM SAR 27) Nanaimo. Chris worked for over 6 hours repairing the fast rescue SAR boat radio, antennas and coax today. What was supposed to be a simple antenna replacement, turned out to a be, simply put, a gong show (no fault of Chris). Working in tight quarters and bouncing around on the waves, Chris stepped up beyond the call of duty and allowed us to remain SAR ready.Thank you Chris!
